Abdullahi Omar, Director in Charge of Saskatoon Branch

Abdullahi Omar is a Canadian citizen of Kenyan origin. Mr. Omar has a Bachelor degree in Arts from the College of Islamic Studies in Mombasa, Kenya and Masters Degree from the Islamic University in Uganda as well as Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Kampala University.

Mr. Omar has extensively worked in the education sector as a teacher both here in Canada and his home country in Kenya.

Mr. Omar is now working as a line locating technologist with Shermco Industries. Abdullahi Omar is also a board member of Saskatoon Black Canadian Network (REP for East African Communities) and is a founding board member of the Greater Somali Saskatoon Community Association.

In his spare time, Omar enjoys watching and coaching soccer, as well as reading historical and political news articles.
