Regular Membership Due (Individual)
Membership is open to any individual, family or organisation, resident in Saskatchewan, that identifies with goals and values of the organisation.
Membership agreement:
- Members agree to respect and subscribe to the values (unity, collaboration, professionalism, family centered) of ACRN.
- Members agree to pay annual dues and support the organisation as volunteers.
- There are two types of membership: Regular and Associate. Individuals (1 vote) and organisations (2 votes) can be members under both categories.
- Only regular members can vote at general meetings. Organisational members may send two voters.
Payment:
Please enclose payment as follows:
- Regular (individual): $20
- Regular (organisation): $50
- Associate (individual): $10
- Associate (organisation): $25
- Description
ACRN is an action-oriented, resource organization dedicated to supporting the capacity development of the African-Canadian Community in Saskatchewan in strategic areas such as public and business leadership.
It also provides a platform for enhancing social and cultural connections within and outside the Community.
Incorporated in September 2014, its creation is a result of two years of community-based research and collaboration that identified the need to establish an enduring organization that will support a diverse, growing and dynamic African Canadian community in Saskatchewan. This work was spearheaded by the Ugandan Canadian Association of Saskatchewan and the African Francophone resource association, la Communauté des Africains Francophones de Saskatchewan Inc.
